Pilot Peer Support

An independent and confidential service for all Pilots registered to Maltese AOCs.

Use this link to arrange to speak with a trained pilot volunteer.

We are an independent, confidential service using trained, volunteer pilots to support their flight crew colleagues.

The volunteer pilots are there to listen without judgement.

We find that many issues can be resolved by talking with someone who is a trained listener and knows what it's like to be a pilot. At the same time your Peer Assistance Network (PAN) is underpinned by the Centre for Aviation Psychology, leading and independent experts in the field of aviation psychology and the peers have direct access to them where necessary.

This service is available to both fixed wing and rotary wing pilots.

EMERGENCY?

The Peer Assistance Network is not designed to respond to emergency situations.
For these cases, please follow the procedures defined by your company.

Prefer an External Peer?

We understand that you might prefer to speak to a trained pilot peer not based in Malta. Fortunately, this is possible through an exchange agreement between many of the peer support programmes managed by the The Centre for Aviation Psychology. All the peers have been trained and operate to the same standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

If you would like to use this facility, please send us a confidential email and we will be happy to arrange that.
